Uluru

Australian Holidays Ad
Uluru weather is very different between winter and summer. During the hotter months the temperatures can be extreme as the Ayers rock is set in the middle of a desert region. The nights can be cooler and very comfortable. During the winter months, daytime temperatures usually average in the low to mid twenties however, at night it can drop to well below zero. The region is dry to arid however there can be flash flooding occasionally due to intense rain events. These are, however quite rare.

Summer months bring temperatures that can soar into the low 40’s so if you are planning to climb the rock you must keep in mind that you will need to be making descend before 9am as people have been known to suffer from heat exhaustion. Uluru is in the middle of the desert, so you would expect nothing for miles, except with many of the walks and guided expeditions that you can embark on you will walk through beautiful National Parks, visit shady rock pools and cascading waterfalls. It is a place like you have never experienced before!

Winter can see temperatures fall to a very cool temperature of around 3⁰ come nightfall, but the best thing of all is that during winter the temperatures are always perfect with the average being at around 20-22 degrees. Making it great for getting out and about and seeing all that this vast country side has to offer!

Winds can tend to pick up through Uluru and if they do get too strong, the park rangers will prohibit anyone from climbing the rock to prevent any accidents.Uluru You may not normally do things like this when you go on holiday, you may be more used to doing things like going to restaurants, playing online casino and doing shopping but this is something you can do as well. Once you are in the great outdoors, you will feel happy and pleased that you have made the trip.

No matter what time of year you are planning to visit Uluru, you can be sure that the weather will always present perfect opportunities to get out and about.
